The packaging matches the usual: the doll comes in a (large and stable) cardboard box. However, the padding surprises; the foam elements fix the doll quite well in the surrounding box, and even separate compartments are provided for the supplied head(s), as well as for accessories. Very thoughtful, functional and effective - one of the best packaging for Chinese dolls we have seen so far.

The head is screwed onto the body via the common M16 thread. As it is always the case with Z-Onedoll , the "non-intelligent" version without heating, the body also contains the heating elements and control cables, which would bring the body to temperature - only the cables in the neck area are cut through.

The manufacturing quality of the doll is good, for a Z-Onedoll even above-average. The doll is relatively clean and does not show any conspicuous production residues. However, nothing speaks against a shower with subsequent powdering. After powdering, the silicone surface looks and feels much nicer.

The skeleton appears to be rather robust ance and is configured in between 'more loose' and 'more tight'. Hands, feet and neck joints are designed as hinged joints; a "gooseneck" is, as far as we can tell, nowhere used in this doll.

Z-Onedoll offers this model only on explicit request with standing skeleton and advises against of this configuration option for the ZO-162. This makes total sense as the forces which would be loaded on the skeleton and joints would simply be too great and could damage the skeleton. We recommend that you follow this recommendation by Z-Onedoll. If you want a doll that can stand on her own feet, the ZO-160 would be the better choice. As a bonus, the regular skeleton you will get pretty soles without holes for the screws on which the standing skeleton would stand.

Despite the good padding, there are some smaller dents - this is hardly to be avoided with a doll of this size and weight class with reasonable effort. Tears, cracks or holes are not present.

The body makeup is fine, but has a bit the appearance of something painted. Fine pastel tones and soft transitions, as they are known by other manufacturers, are not available here. With a Z-Onedoll, it can sometimes be a matter of good luck if you get details with complex nuances exactly the way you imagined them.

The body shape of the doll is massive but realistic. Attractive body details such as small dimples or a clearly contoured key bone are a delight for touching and looking. The silicone is firm, only slightly oily and hardly sticky. Body zones with different hardness or softness do not exist, the material advantages of silicone are unfortunately not (yet) used in this product generation.

The weight of the doll does not match the specification - the body weighs 42.1 kg (weighted without head). According to the manufacturer, the ZO-162 is specified with a weight of 39 kg, so there is about five kilos deviation when weighed with the head (approx. + 15%). This is not too great, but the deviation is - opposed to the blatant mismatch of the ZO-160/B - still with the acceptable range.

What you get with a ZO-162 is a very massive love doll, which due to its luscious weight and the curvaceous body measures presents certain challenges to everyday's handling. However, in relation to the affordable price, you get a lot of doll - so she is a recommendation for all those who are tired of thin stork legs and arms with muscle loss.
